We will catch you up to speed on the past week in an update that I’ll share soon, but we want to share a prayer request right away.

This morning was very difficult. We’ve been observing a significant decline in Tammy’s health each day, and today we reached a breaking point. She couldn’t tell because of the pain meds, but we noticed enough changes in her symptoms and appearance that we decided she needed urgent help. We spent some time on the phone planning a transition to the hospital, and around 1pm Tammy was taken to ARH by ambulance with my brother Keaton by her side, who is also a paramedic.

Right now, we’re in the hospital waiting to find out what is next for her. Her dear friend Suzanne works in the hospital and is here advocating for her, and Jeff, Keaton, Ro and I are here as well waiting. We are really worried about her.

We would love for you to pray for her right now and throughout the day. Pray that she would get the care she needs, and pray for our spirits as we wait.

We’ve been offered plenty of support, and though we don’t know how long we’ll be here, we know for sure all our needs for the next day at least are covered.
